This colorful neighborhood is home to many species of tropical fish, including the Cortez wrasse, scrawled filefish and Cortez angelfish. In the wild, coral reefs are among the most diverse and valuable ecosystems on Earth. Healthy reefs protect nearby shorelines and wetlands, and are home to thousands of species of fishes and corals.

Did you know that the giant clam is the largest clam in the world? It can weigh as much as 440 pounds, grow up to four feet, and live to be 100 years old or more. This rare beauty lives on shallow reefs in the Indian Ocean, the South Pacific and parts of South Africa.
